Women’s Basic Pistol Class

Learn about Handguns in a safe and Friendly environment. Learn how to clean your firearm. Learn the basic fundamentals of pistol shooting. Live range train with .22 LR pistols. 50 Rounds of Ammo and Pistol provided. You are welcome to bring your own firearm to shoot with a instructor at end of class!

Women’s Intermediate Pistol Class
Guns, Fishing & Other Stuff – Vacaville, CA

This class expands on Women’s Basic Pistol, with a detailed and visual explanation of the differences, the pros, and the cons of semi-automatics and revolvers. We touch on how these firearms can malfunction as well as the safe procedures for correcting malfunctions. Students will be introduced to holster options for concealed carry, and what every woman should know about establishing boundaries using the “color codes of awareness.” This lesson is summarized with a number of on and off the range exercises, allowing the student to put these intermediate skills to practice.

Defensive Shooting Class

Defensive Shooting Class introduces the student to advanced topics, skills and drills. Topics include a detailed explanation of what students should know avoiding, escaping, and defending against an attacker, as well as an overview of their obligations under the law when it comes to the legal right to use force.

Firearms Maintenance: Pistol
Guns, Fishing & Other Stuff – Dublin, CA
Price: $50
In this class we will introduce and guide you through the maintenance aspect of firearm ownership. Bring your personal pistol to our classroom where we will teach you how to disassemble/field strip, clean, and maintain your firearm to keep it operating in peak condition.
Pistol must be your own. Class is priced per pistol, couples/partners/families sharing one pistol are more than welcome (please let us know ahead of time so we can plan seating)
Price includes a take home pistol caliber cleaning kit and cleaning mat.
Absolutely no ammunition is to be brought into the classroom.
Please note we are not gunsmiths and will be breaking down/field stripping firearms only to the level the manufacturer recommends.

First Time Buyer

During this 2.5 hour class, we will provide you with all of the information you need to make your first firearm purchase as smooth as possible. A short classroom session will cover all of the identification and documents needed for purchase. We then take to the range where instructors will work with you to identify the firearm that fits you best!
All equipment (pistols, ammunition, eye and electronic ear protection, classroom materials) are provided.

Trygon Trigger Talk
Guns, Fishing & Other Stuff – Dublin, CA
Price: $100
Have something to work on, or need help finding your next step? Join Trygon Instructors for closed-to-the-public range time. In this 2 hour session, seating will be limited to half the range’s capacity to keep a good shooter to instructor ratio. These sessions are unstructured and shooter-driven. This allows the shooter to learn and practice at their own pace in a relaxed, comfortable environment with access to personalized help from instructors in the range with them.
Price includes instructors, range fee, eye and electronic ear protection, targets, and free use of any firearms available for rent in the range. You are encouraged to bring your own firearm. Ammunition is available for purchase on site, or bring your own.
